Exam Overview
The APCalculus BC Exam measures students' understanding of the concepts of calculus, their ability to apply these concepts, and their ability to make connections among graphical, numerical, analytical, and verbal representations ofmathematics.
Student sneed strong foundations in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and elementaryfunctions to be prepared for the exam, though the course focuses ondifferential and integral calculus.

在这里强烈推荐这门课程，第一：作为中国的学生，数学功底一般都比较好，而且这门课程本身的5分率也很高，有44%（根据2015年CB的全球统计数据），所以AP Cal考试拿到5分是相对简单的；第二：Calculus BC作为STEM的通识课程，很重要，也很common，所以学一门这个在大学里头用作换算学分是非常有帮助的；第三：AP的微积分有两类考试，一个是Calculus AB，一个是CalculusBC，后者比前者多出来级数还有极坐标两块知识点（series and polar coordinates），但是CB会认为，如果你考了Calculus BC的话，相当于参加了一门考试，但是有个BC和AB这两门成绩，并且中国孩子们的数学功底是完全可以hold住这块知识点的，可以一箭双雕。

Exam questions are based on the topics and skills addressed in the AP Statisticscourse. Formulas and tables needed to complete exam questions are provided tostudents taking the exam. Students are allowed to use a graphing calculatorwith statistical capabilities on the entire exam.

这门课程的是ap文史类课程选择人数最多的，一是因为大学录取是时候会更prefer文理兼备的学生，如果你是理科生，可以选择这门课，体现出你的文科底蕴很强，大学会更加倾向于选择这样的学生。如果你是文科生，这更是一门必修课。二来，学习美国历史可以更好的锻炼自己写essay的水平，还有批判性思维的能力。很坦白的讲，美国历史需要很强的论文写作水平还有独立思考的能力，而且对英文水平要求比较高，需要长时间的准备。
相比较中国而言，美国的学校更看重学生独立思考的思辨能力和论文的写作水平，不管你是理科生还是文科生，学习这门课程对自己而言一定是一个非常大的提升。

在这里把AP宏观经济学和AP微观经济学放在一起和大家说，宏观经济学是使用国民收入、经济整体的投资和消费等总体性的统计概念来分析经济运行规律的一个经济学领域，微观经济学研究社会中单个经济单位的经济行为，以及相应的经济变量的单项数值如何决定的经济学说。
个人觉得，如果以后想学习商科方向，这两门课程是必选的；并且就课程本身而言，易于理解，对于一些理工科方向的学生而言，也是一个不错的选择。更重要的是，学习一些经济学的课程，可以提升我们自身的思维模式和思考问题的角度，为以后的一些决策提供一些非常重要的视角。因为经济学的问题，关乎我们每个人，比如你今天早上买的面包，交了多少税？特朗普上台和人民币汇率变化的关系？我怎么样让我手中的钱更值钱？等等。

The examassesses students' understanding of the core scientific principles, theories,and processes governing chemical systems. There may be questions on the use ofmodeling to explain chemistry principles, the use of mathematical processes toexplain concepts, making predictions and justifying phenomena, experimentaldesign, and manipulation and interpretation of data.
Studentshave a periodic table of the elements and a formulas and constants chart to useon the entire exam. In addition, students may use a scientific or graphingcalculator on the free-response section.

ap物理1和2覆盖的内容是力学（内容包含牛顿经典力学，动量和动能，转动，圆周运动等等），同样也是擅长理工科的中国学生选择比较多的一个科目，在老版的ap考试里物理1和2是放在一起考的，考一门有两门的效果，跟微积分一样，但在新版的考试里这被拆分成两门考试了，对学生们而言就要收取两门考试的报名费用。呵呵，CB数钱要数到手软了。
闲话少说，如果你以后的专业的方向是engineering的话，这就是一门必修课了，来吧。
